After PM Khan’s arrival at the PM Office in Malaysia, he was also given a warm reception and a guard of honour.

During his joint press talk with Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday said that his country wanted to learn from the progress and development of Malaysia and its leadership.
“Apart from trade and future cooperation, we are looking forward for Malaysian cooperation in the tourism sector,” PM Khan further said, adding that Pakistan has a number of tourists’ spots but no resorts.

Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohammad also accepted PM Khan’s invitation and said that he will visit Pakistan in March. The Malaysian leader also said that the two sides have agreed to continue the bilateral dialogue process.

The Malaysian Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra) in a statement said the visit was at the invitation of Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and this is Imran Khan’s first official visit to Malaysia since assuming office in August.
PM Khan further said that his government wants to replicate the Malaysian model of good governance. Admiring Mahathir Mohammad, he said that the Malaysian leader has totally transformed the country, and raised the per capita income and Gross Development Product (GDP).
