In a policy message addressed to India, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he had wanted to respond on the Pulwama attack right away “but Pakistan had a very important visit from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia”.
Three major points of PM Khan’s address were:
1) We are ready for Independent Investigations
2) We are ready to speak on Terrorism
3) We will not think of retaliation; we will retaliate
Prime Minister Imran Khan also assured India of action if it had any actionable evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in the attack, his government will take action. He said his government would take action “not because we are under pressure, but because it is our policy.”
“Why would anyone do such a thing to sabotage their own conference?” he asked.
“I would like to make the Indian government an offer,” he said, asking Delhi to share actionable evidence with Islamabad and vowing that Pakistan would investigate it.
