Former IG police and Federal tax ombudsman Dr. Shoaib Suddle says that the federal government should strengthen the provincial government for the mainstreaming of the tribal region and provide all available resources.
Federal government should also closely monitor the implementation.
He also argues that the federal parliament and the political parties represented therein should play an instrumental role in the merger process.
He added that media and civil society has a very vital role in the mainstreaming of the tribal regions as they can act as a watchdog. They can identify the basic obstructions in the way of the process.
