[Watch] Right-wing members assault Kashmiris in India

Two Kashmiri dry fruit sellers were attacked and assaulted by Indian right-wing Vishwa Hindu Dal in Lucknow’s Daliganj area. In recent months, Kashmiris have faced similar incidents and discrimination in other past of country, especially after the February 14 Pulwama attack. 

It was previously reported that in Uttarakhand, many Kashmiri students were asked to leave the college campuses. Moreover, some colleges in India have also said that they will not welcome or admit any Kashmiri students.

The incident also invited widespread backlash both in India and abroad.
